What happens
Jack Benny is anxious on the eve of announcing the winners of his 'I Can't Stand Jack Benny' contest, which carries a $10,000 prize. Rochester notices his employer's nervousness and suspects he may be planning to flee, while Jack insists he is not worried about the money. The next day Jack's wife Mary Livingstone and the cast, including Phil Harris, tease him about his sleepless night and the contest. Jack's press agent Steve Bradley is delayed, and the broadcast builds toward the moment the winners are finally read out.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
