What happens
Jack Benny prepares to attend an Isaac Stern violin concert at the Philharmonic Auditorium with Mary Livingstone, while his valet Rochester and his bandleader Phil Harris tease him about his musical tastes. Jack fumbles for tickets after Don Wilson asks for help, and he and Mary go backstage to meet the violinist and his wife. Seated high in the balcony, Jack tries to attract the attention of Ronald Colman and Benita Hume, who are seated below. The Jack Benny program, first broadcast February 3, 1946, on NBC and CBS Radio, stars Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
