What happens

Part two of a Jack Benny comedy mystery continues with a playful football murder story. Detective Captain O'Benny, played by Jack Benny, and his assistant Sergeant Wilson investigate the shooting of football star Dynamite Dugan during a game between Flatfoot College and Meatball Tech. The pair visit the college dean's office and question a series of odd suspects, including a student who claims to be Dugan's sweetheart. The show is part of the Jell-O program, which first aired on NBC and CBS Radio on December 10, 1939, with Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris in the leading roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
