What happens
Jack Benny is at home waiting for his violin teacher, Professor LeBlanc, to arrive, since he will soon be on a personal appearance tour and wants to brush up his playing. The lesson is repeatedly interrupted by Mary Livingstone, who brings a copy of Look magazine featuring Benny on its cover, and by Phil Harris, who talks about the tour dates and his own songs. Rochester handles the household chores and a series of visitors keep dropping by at the house. The Jack Benny program ran on NBC and CBS Radio, and this installment first aired on April 30, 1950, starring Jack Benny with Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
