What happens
Jack Benny broadcasts his program from the Marine Memorial Theater in San Francisco, his final night at the Curran Theater there. He jokes with Don Wilson, Mary Livingstone and Dennis Day about getting train reservations back to Los Angeles, a visit to the mint, and Mary's new glasses. Bob Crosby recalls his early days in the city. Lieutenant Governor Goodwin Knight arrives as a guest, and the cast trades jokes about Don Wilson's supposed influence around the Bay Area. The episode is part of the Jack Benny radio series, first aired on May 10, 1953.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
