What happens
Jack Benny is in New York City to help open the 1950 Heart Campaign, and his cast is scattered around town on their own errands. Jack's valet Rochester has vanished along with Jack's new brown suit, and Jack spends the program phoning Harlem hangouts in search of him. Phil Harris has a band of borrowed musicians, Mary Livingstone complains about Jack's choice of nightclubs and hotel, and Dennis Day asks for a raise. The broadcast was originally aired on February 5, 1950 on NBC and CBS Radio, with Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris in the leading roles. Near the end, Dr. H. M. Marvin of the American Heart Association asks listeners to send donations to Jack Benny in New York.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
