What happens
Jack Benny broadcasts his program from Nellis Air Force Base outside Las Vegas, with Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson as Rochester, Dennis Day and Phil Harris. Benny chats with announcer Don Wilson about the fast jet planes overhead and the young officers stationed there, and Mary describes a jet ride she took that morning. Dennis Day sings a song, Phil Harris's band plays, and the cast trades jokes about fishing on Lake Mead. Benny then arrives in Las Vegas and tries to check in at the Flamingo Hotel, where the desk clerk, the manager and the general manager each take turns trying to settle his room rate. The program is broadcast as the 1951 Lucky Strike sponsored show of the Jack Benny series, first aired on April 29, 1951.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
