What happens

Jack Benny prepares to attend a school play at which the Beverly Hills Beavers will stage a spoof of his radio program, with children playing his cast. Mary Livingston, Rochester and Dennis Day join him as the evening's plans run into trouble, including a flat tire, a call from Bob Crosby, who is stuck on jury duty, and a sale of Jack's car. At the auditorium the young performers prepare their version of the show, and the program is presented in full to the audience. The episode is part of the Jack Benny radio series and was first broadcast on 1953-02-22 on NBC and CBS Radio, with Jack Benny, Mary Livingston, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris in the leading roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
