What happens
Jack Benny hosts the penultimate broadcast of his season, and the cast trades jokes about their appearance and vanity. Jack, Mary Livingstone, Phil Harris, Don Wilson and Kenny Baker trade barbs over mud packs, curlers and eyelashes. Kenny announces he is leaving for England to film for Alexander Korda, and the program confuses the word macado with Japan's emperor. Andy Devine then joins for a Father's Day sketch, Back Home in Indiana, in which Jack plays Clem Benny, a farmer awaiting his grown children on the family farm. The Jell-O Program is broadcast on NBC and CBS Radio in 1938. The episode is a light comedy of banter and sketch.
A radio studio during the last broadcast of the season, followed by a Father's Day sketch set on a broken-down farm in the town of Number Two Breakfast, Indiana.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
