What happens
Jack Benny visits Samuel Goldwyn's studio to pitch himself as the star of a picture, hoping to make the producer the greatest in the motion picture industry. Along the way he meets Hoagy Carmichael, who asks Jack to help clear up confusion over who wrote his famous songs, and Jack hears about Phil Harris's plans for a new picture. At home, Jack hides and finds Easter eggs with Rochester, and Mary Livingstone describes the Easter parade on Wilshire Boulevard. The Jack Benny program aired on NBC and CBS Radio on April 6, 1947, starring Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
