What happens

Paladin receives a telegram from rancher Ian Crown offering a large sum of money and travels to San Sebastian, California. On the way, he encounters a young boy named Pedro who steals his wallet at a mission church. At the mission, Paladin learns that Crown owns a valuable statue of Saint Sebastian that was taken from the church and refuses to return it unless the mission pays him two thousand dollars—a sum the poor parish has struggled to collect over ten years.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
