What happens

Paladin is hired to transport a third payroll shipment from a bank in Yuba City to Jack Regan's ranch near Oroville, California. While traveling with Luke Williams, the foreman, the two men are ambushed by Rance Carnival, an escaped convict and former associate of Williams who has his own deadly reasons for stopping them.
