What happens

Paladin accepts a job in Stone's Crossing after a series of coin tosses, but his horse breaks down in the Nevada desert. After shooting a man he was hired to kill, he's pursued by a vengeful posse who mistake him for the dead man Curtis and capture him at a waterhole. Now facing execution by hanging, Paladin must find a way to convince his captors of his true identity before it's too late.
