What happens

Marshal Dillon encounters a dispute when a man named Parker forecloses on a farmer named Stokes and seizes his valuable stallion horse. Later, Dillon finds the same horse running wild with severe beatings on its body, suggesting someone has cruelly mistreated the animal. Dillon leaves the horse at the livery stable, waiting to see who comes to claim it.

Listen for: A harsh dispute over debt and property rights, and the mystery of who brutally beat the stallion horse

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
