What happens
Marshal Dillon encounters the alluring Mrs. Ava Morley, whose dangerous attraction to men has already caused two deaths in Dodge City. When a cattle-buying trip turns deadly, a man is stabbed to death and money is stolen, with suspicion falling on newcomer Red Lawson. Dillon must ride out to investigate the murder at the camp and track down the killer before more blood is spilled.
Dodge City and the surrounding territory in the West, with scenes in the saloon, the street, and a cattle camp at Buffalo Flats
Characters: Matt Dillon, Chester, Ava Morley, Red Lawson, Al Morley, Jesse Wells, Kitty
Listen for: The mysterious circumstances surrounding Al Morley's death and whether Red Lawson is truly guilty of the murder and theft, or if there is more to the story than it appears.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
