What happens

A scholarly professor named Milford arrives in Dodge City on foot after his horse runs away. He claims to be writing a book on Native American culture and collecting artifacts for scientific purposes. Matt Dillon and Chester encounter him while investigating a hold-up, uncertain whether this peculiar visitor is who he claims to be.
