Two traveling performers, Grover and Little Murray, stage a dangerous William Tell act in Dodge City where they shoot objects off each other's heads for money. When Marshal Dillon discovers they're romantically involved with widow Miss Gans and may be fleecing her, he attends their next performance to investigate, only to witness a tragic shooting during their act.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
