What happens

A new hotel is being built in Dodge City by Enoch Mills, a former cattle rancher, competing directly with Jim Dober's established hotel business. When Dober's jealous opposition turns destructive and someone sets fire to Mills's nearly completed building, Mills becomes convinced of Dober's guilt and begins taking matters into his own hands, even recruiting the dangerous gunman Gil Shank to help settle the score.
