What happens
Marshal Matt Dillon becomes suspicious when two cattlemen named Thompson visit his office asking for cattle buyers—a task that typically doesn't bring cowhands to the marshal's jail. When Dillon investigates their herd at Walnut Creek, he discovers that one of their hired hands is Houston Jack, a gunslinger he previously ran out of town. Dillon warns the Thompsons about their employee, but tensions simmer as the brothers prepare to sell their cattle and pay off their crew before heading back to Texas.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
