What happens
An old prospector named Nip Colters arrives in Dodge City looking for a wife after inheriting his mother's fortune. When Kitty defends him from two rowdy women at the saloon, he decides she would make a good wife and announces his intention to marry her. Kitty must now figure out how to handle the persistent old miner's unexpected romantic interest.
Dodge City, Kansas; the Long Branch Saloon and Matt's office
Characters: Matt Dillon, Kitty, Nip Colters, Chester, Olive, Kate
Listen for: A wealthy prospector's clumsy courtship and Kitty's dilemma when his proposal of marriage becomes uncomfortably serious.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
