What happens

Marshal Matt Dillon receives eviction papers from Washington ordering him to remove Sloe Carson from his 360-acre homestead. The land belongs to the large Craiger Ranch, and rancher Burke Craiger has finally obtained a federal order claiming Carson illegally homesteaded the property. Though Dillon sympathizes with Carson's situation, he must deliver the legal notice.
