What happens

Marshal Matt Dillon meets with Obie Tater, a rancher falsely believed to be wealthy from California gold. Three weeks earlier, two men dragged Obie across the prairie trying to torture him into revealing where he hid his supposed riches. Now Dillon searches the saloons of Dodge City with Obie to identify the attackers before they strike again.

Dodge City and the surrounding Kansas territory, including Obie's remote ranch and the town saloons.
