Samples threatens to send the evidence to the governor and swear out legal charges.

Dodge City and the surrounding Kansas territory, including Rocky Bend and the Texas Trail saloon.

Characters: Matt Dillon, Chester, Red Samples, Jim Huggins, Doc Adams, Kitty, Lou Price

Listen for: The false accusation against Dillon, the confrontation with Samples and his men at the marshal's office, and the arrival of a telegram from Washington regarding Dillon's suspension.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
