What happens

When a family of settlers clashes with rival cattlemen over wild horses on open range, gunfire erupts and Jakey Seale's brother is badly wounded. Jakey rides into Dodge to fetch the marshal, but his mother has made clear she prefers to handle the trouble herself rather than involve the law.
