What happens

When an elderly man named Wesley Proudfoot arrives in Dodge City claiming to be the father of Chester, Matt Dillon's assistant, a misunderstanding threatens to unravel. Chester has apparently written home exaggerating his importance, leading his father to believe Chester is the marshal of Dodge City rather than merely an assistant. Now Matt must navigate the awkward situation as the truth begins to emerge.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
