What happens
Marshal Dillon arrives at a remote homestead to investigate a man named Tebb who has been stabbed in the leg. Doc Adams suspects the man's wife Florie may have injured him deliberately and is waiting for another chance to finish him off. When Dillon visits the sod house, he finds Tebb feverish and unwilling to leave, while Florie grows increasingly hostile to any outside help or interference.

Characters: Matt Dillon, Doc Adams, Sam, Justin, Tebb, Florie
Listen for: The tense confrontation between Marshal Dillon and the suspicious wife as he tries to determine what really happened to the injured man and whether she poses a threat.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
