What happens
Marshal Dillon discovers that Kitty has missed three appointments in a single day—with Doc, Chester, and Sam at the Long Branch—which is completely unlike her. Sam reports seeing Kitty leave with a mysterious well-dressed stranger from the East named Rachmill around ten o'clock the previous night, and she never returned. Dillon begins investigating the disappearance.

Listen for: A tense mystery unfolding as Dillon questions everyone about Kitty's whereabouts and learns of the mysterious Easterner who was last seen with her.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
