What happens

Marshal Matt Dillon investigates a stagecoach robbery and murder on the Santa Fe Trail. A bandit held up Jim Buck's stage, killed a passenger in cold blood, and rode off. Dillon travels to Jesse Daggett's stage station to question the suspicious station keeper, who refuses to help and insists the matter is between the bandit and himself.
