What happens
A man named Dooley confesses to Marshal Dillon that he killed a buffalo skinner named Faber while drunk at a camp upriver. To proceed with the law, Dillon must verify the body exists. When Dillon, Chester, and Doc Adams exhume the grave at Turkey Bend, they discover that Faber was actually killed by a knife wound to the heart, not a gunshot as Dooley claimed.

Listen for: The mystery of how Dooley came to believe he killed a man with a gunshot when the body shows a knife wound; Dillon's investigation into what really happened at the buffalo hunters' camp.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
