What happens

Marshal Dillon returns to Dodge City after six weeks away to find that Kitty Russell has become a half-owner of the Long Branch Saloon with Sam Noonan. A telegram arrives for Kitty announcing that her father, Wayne Russell, whom she has never met, is coming to Dodge City. When he arrives, the charming and prosperous businessman wants to host a dinner to meet Kitty's friends and become acquainted with his daughter.
