Matt Dillon helps a traveling family repair their wagon wheel on the road to Dodge City. Cole Treadwell is an unordained preacher traveling with his wife Beth Ann, and the town has taken a liking to them, even letting them use the schoolhouse as a church on Sundays. Back in Dodge, tension simmers when the recently released Nate Bush confronts Chester with threats of revenge.
The trail to Dodge City and the town of Dodge City itself
Characters: Matt Dillon, Cole Treadwell, Beth Ann Treadwell, Chester, Doc, Kitty, Nate Bush
Listen for: A traveling preacher and his wife find community acceptance in Dodge City, while an angry drunk released from jail harbors resentment toward Chester.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
