What happens

Lena Wave, a large and muscular woman, arrives in Dodge City with her small, mild-mannered boyfriend Emmet Fitzgerald, a gambling man. When Lena's volatile temper leads to violence in town—including a shooting—Marshal Dillon must figure out how to handle her without causing more trouble.

Dodge City, Kansas, at the Texas Trail saloon and around town

Characters: Marshal Dillon, Chester, Lena Wave, Emmet Fitzgerald, Kitty, Doc

Listen for: Lena's domineering personality and dangerous temper; Chester's encounters with her; the shooting incident at the dog house

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
