What happens

Leroy Gildersleeve, the young nephew of Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve, buys two rabbits from a magazine advertisement, and the household is soon in an uproar as they escape under the refrigerator. Gildersleeve questions Leroy about where he got the money, and the boy's explanation involves a trade of old roller skates and a spark coil. Meanwhile Gildersleeve's romance with Leila Ransom is discussed, with Leila pressing him on when they will marry. The episode is set over Easter weekend in Summerfield, and the Gildersleeve household is at the center of the action.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
