What happens
Gildersleeve helps his neighbor Mrs. Bullard across a slushy street and learns that her son Craig refuses to attend dancing school because his hero, Leroy, has called it nonsense. Gildersleeve summons Leroy and lectures him on the value of dancing school and on getting along with girls, and Leroy's protests grow increasingly dramatic. Meanwhile, Marjorie is found wearing a pin belonging to a boy named Jerry Walsh, and her uncle objects strongly. Gildersleeve also seeks advice from Peavey on how to win over women, with mixed results.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
