What happens

In Wyoming territory, J.B. Kendall, a correspondent for the London Times, travels to Dry Creek to write about Amy Robinson, one of the first women to serve as a justice of the peace in America. When a Rapaho Indian named Jack Red Dog is arrested for murder, the townspeople, led by Big Nose George and Tipp Butler, threaten to lynch him before his trial can take place. Mrs. Robinson must fight to uphold the law and ensure Red Dog receives a fair hearing despite the hostile resistance of the community.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
