What happens
Fibber McGee and Molly return home from a long vacation to their house on Wistful Vista, where neighbor Gildersleeve has been keeping an eye on things. They discover a broken umbrella stand and a ruined dining room floor left from water running in the upstairs bathroom. Fibber unpacks a cluttered collection of souvenirs and gifts, and Molly tries to work out what they might have forgotten. Along the way they meet neighbors including Mrs. Uppington, Billy Mills, and Mr. Wilcox. The series, first broadcast on NBC Radio on October 1, 1940, stars Harold Peary, Bill Thompson, Gale Gordon and Arthur Q. Bryan.
