What happens

Fibber McGee and Molly is quarantined at home with measles, and the household has grown tense. Fibber and Molly host a houseful of guests including Mrs. Uffington, Gildersleeve, Wilcox, and Boomer, all unable to leave. Molly tries to put a stop to a poker game in the basement, Fibber amuses the little girl with stories and comics, and the guests grumble about how long they must stay. Gildersleeve, Mrs. Uffington, and Fibber trade complaints, and Molly considers charging the guests for their stay. Fibber sets out to telephone the health department to learn when the quarantine will end.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
