What happens
Fibber McGee and Molly is a comedy about a household of small-town schemers. The episode, from the Fibber McGee and Molly series on NBC Radio, first aired on December 9, 1941, and features Harold Peary, Bill Thompson, Gale Gordon and Arthur Q. Bryan in lead roles. Fibber's cousin Ickabod, a rich and estranged relative, also enters the household news, while Molly and the neighbors watch his schemes grow more tangled.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
