What happens

Fibber McGee and Molly follows Fibber, who has taken up an English accent and a small mustache after seeing a Ronald Coleman film. Molly is unimpressed and tries to talk sense into him while he dabbles in home remedies from an old-timer neighbor to make the mustache grow faster. Fibber visits Mayor LaTravia and the neighbors, showing off his new look and ordering fancy clothes from Hagerty's Snuggery. Molly grows increasingly exasperated with his changes, which draw attention from the whole block. The episode is broadcast on NBC Radio, and it originally aired on December 2, 1941, starring Harold Peary, Bill Thompson, Gale Gordon and Arthur Q. Bryan.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
