What happens
Fibber McGee and Molly are cleaning out their house, sorting through clutter in the attic and closets. Molly finds a bundle of old love letters that Fibber wrote to her years earlier, and she begins reading them aloud, much to his embarrassment. Their neighbors Mr. Wilcox and Mr. Whimple drop by and join in the teasing as the letters are shared around. Meanwhile Mrs. Abigail Upington arrives in a panic because her dog Phoebe has gone missing, and the cleanup grinds to a halt as the afternoon wears on. The episode is a Fibber McGee and Molly comedy, first broadcast on NBC Radio on October 21, 1941, starring Harold Peary, Bill Thompson, Gale Gordon and Arthur Q. Bryan.
