What happens
Fibber McGee and his wife Molly argue about a missing button and a shirt that needs mending, and Molly's new fur coat draws the attention of their neighbours. Fibber's cold leads him to visit Dr. Cyclops, who finds nothing wrong with him. The episode is from the series Fibber McGee and Molly, first broadcast on NBC Radio on February 27, 1940, and stars Marion and Jim Jordan as the McGees, with Bill Thompson also appearing. Along the way, Mrs. Uppington admires the coat, Mrs. Gildersleeve and Fibber trade insults, and the couple are told that Molly's coat may not be what she believed it to be.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
