What happens
Fibber McGee and Molly sort through the overstuffed hall closet at 79 Wistful Vista, pulling out forgotten keepsakes and junk while Molly pushes to throw things away and Fibber insists that every item is useful. Their neighbor Mrs. Uppington drops in with news about a symphony concert she is planning, and visitors such as Gildersleeve, Gracie Allen and Mr. Wilcox come and go as the cleanup drags on. The episode is from the Fibber McGee and Molly series on NBC Radio, first broadcast March 5, 1940, with Harold Peary, Bill Thompson, Gale Gordon and Arthur Q. Bryan in the cast. Jim and Marian Jordan star as the title couple.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
