What happens
Fibber McGee and Molly, the long-running radio comedy, follows the McGees as Fibber expects an important package in the mail that he believes will make him rich. When the mail carrier arrives, Fibber receives a horoscope booklet instead, and he and Molly begin reading their signs and fortunes with growing enthusiasm. Their conversation turns to an old schoolmate who supposedly owes Fibber a debt, and Fibber insists the stars have predicted a windfall. Molly is skeptical but amused as the household's astrological pronouncements pile up. Aired on NBC Radio on March 16, 1943, the program stars Harold Peary, Bill Thompson, Gale Gordon and Arthur Q. Bryan.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
