What happens
Jim Anderson, a father, tries to write a speech for an insurance convention at home on a Friday afternoon, but his children keep interrupting him with talk about boys, homework and money. His daughter Betty wants a formal dress for a dance and asks for an advance on her allowance. Jim bets her $49.95 that she cannot go 24 hours without mentioning boys. The series Father Knows Best starred Robert Young, and this episode was first broadcast on January 14, 1954.
