Bud, meanwhile, is trying to rescue his friend Claude Mezner, who is stuck in a telephone booth after ripping his pants. The episode is part of the Father Knows Best radio series, first broadcast on NBC on January 7, 1954, starring Robert Young as Father.

The Anderson family's white frame house on Maple Street, with its backyard and kitchen, plus a drugstore and a telephone booth in town.

Listen for: Jim's growing confusion as a simple photo session turns into a costly project, and Bud's repeated attempts to reach Claude in the phone booth.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
