What happens
Archie, the manager of Duffy's Tavern, is wary when his old acquaintance Dave Hosinger arrives at the bar, having sent a letter about past dealings. The episode is part of the Duffy's Tavern radio series, a comedy with Ed Gardner in the title role and Shirley Booth and Charlie Cantor in the cast. The episode aired in January 1946 on CBS, NBC Blue and NBC.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
