What happens
Duffy wants to sell his tavern, and Archie and Finnegan worry that the new owner will close it or turn it into a modern cocktail lounge. Archie phones the actor Boris Karloff, who agrees to haunt the place so a real estate agent named Crow will not buy it. Boris plays the ghost of a murdered innkeeper and tells Crow the building is haunted, while Miss Duffy takes a romantic interest in him. The Duffy's Tavern episode aired on NBC in 1951 with Ed Gardner and Shirley Booth, and this recording is part of the OTRR Duffy's Tavern Singles collection.
