What happens

George Burns and Gracie Allen deal with the loss of a $5,000 mink coat that Gracie gave away after a misunderstanding. George is upset about the coat and also about an embarrassing swimming pool incident. The pair head to Cabina Wright's party, where George hopes to recover the coat and Gracie tries to help, and friends like Artie Shaw and Samuel Lee get drawn into the scheme. Mr. Randall, the furrier who holds the coat on approval, grows impatient and comes along to watch. The episode, a Burns and Allen radio show from January 27, 1941 on CBS and NBC, includes many comic exchanges, and only the opening part of the story is covered here.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
