What happens
George and Gracie celebrate their wedding anniversary by trying to relive their wedding day, starting with a steak dinner. Gracie suggests they wear their old wedding clothes and buy a steak, but they find that meat is hard to get during wartime and that their clothes no longer fit. George and Gracie begin an exercise routine and a diet, while Harry Bonzo and the butcher, Mr. Boswell, play along with their efforts. Gracie's frustration grows as she finds she cannot squeeze into her wedding dress, and George struggles to fit into his tuxedo. The couple's attempts to stick to their diet keep being tested by their hunger and their misunderstandings.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
