What happens
George Burns and Gracie Allen are at home when Gracie holds a secret meeting of the Beverly Hills Uplift Society in the den. Harry Von Zell arrives unexpectedly and is persuaded to join the club, which obliges him to follow its majority decisions. This Burns and Allen episode first aired on January 22, 1945, on CBS and NBC Radio, with Gracie Allen and Bea Benaderet among the cast.
The Burns home in Beverly Hills, mainly the den and the living room.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
